• Why does pay+ ask to verify mobile number and email?
Your data privacy is of utmost importance to us. pay+ asks you to verify your mobile number and email to ensure the right owner of the number is registering for the pay+ wallet.
• Can i use the same pay+ account for all services on pay+?
pay+ wallet lets you add, send, spend, remit and pay money. The wallet can be used for multiple services.
• I don’t have access to my mobile number. How can i login or update my mobile number?
You need to have access to your mobile number to use pay+ wallet. In case you no longer have access to the mobile number or you have changed your mobile number, we request you to visit the nearest branch to terminate the account and register for a new pay+ account with the new number.
• I’ve forgotten my password. What do i do?
Use the ‘forgot password’ option on the login page, verify details and set your new password and you are ready to do transactions.
• How can i change my password?
Select the ‘change password’ option. Verify your existing password, enter the new password of your choice and you are ready to transact again.
• How do i add or change my registered email address?
Select ‘update email address’ and enter your new email id.
• How do i change my registered mobile number?
Select ‘change mobile number’ option. Enter your new mobile number. Please note that pay+ wallet will send a verification code to be entered on the next screen to ensure data privacy.
• How do i verify my mobile number?
pay+ wallet verifies the mobile number via a verification code (one-time password) sent to your registered mobile number during registration process.

• How will i know that a payment is successful?
We notify transaction status via sms messages and push notifications on the app. You can also see the transaction status on by selecting the ‘passbook’ option.
• Where can i check my previous payments?
Select the ‘transaction history / passbook ‘option to view a list of recent transactions.
• I accidentally entered the wrong amount and paid – how do i resolve this issue?
All transactions are completed in real time and cannot be cancelled. We urge users to verify details before confirming the transaction..
• How can i send money to someone using pay+ ?
Sending money to another pay+ user is very simple. Select the ‘send money’ option, enter recipient’s mobile number, amount and authorize the transaction with your passcode.
• Are there any charges to send money through pay+ ?
Yes, pay+ charges very nominal fees to send money to another pay+ wallet.
Select ‘transfer’ option, enter the recipient’s bank account number, bank name, amount and authorize the transaction with passcode.
• What are the charges to send money to the bank?
There are very nominal fees applicable for transferring money to a bank account.
• I entered the passcode and the payment has failed. What should i do now?
Please check the transaction status under the passbook option and verify the balance. If the amount is deducted while the status shows as failed, please reach our customer care team for assistance.
Simple - select the ‘bill pay’ option. Select the operator, enter the mobile number, amount and authorize the transaction with passcode.
• Can i make bill payments for any other mobile number other than mine?
Yes, you can make bill payments for any mobile number.
• I’m unable to make a payment as it keeps failing. What should i do?
Please ensure there is network connection, sufficient account balance and that you are authorizing it with the correct passcode.
• An amount is deducted from my wallet, but the recharge has failed. What should i do next?
Please verify the transaction status by selecting ‘transaction history / passbook’. If the transaction failed without recharge, then the amount will be credited back to your account.
• The payment status is displaying pending/processing - how do i cancel this?
Unfortunately, there is no way to cancel a transaction once initiated. If the transaction is failed, the amount will be credited back to your account.
• The status is showing pending - when will i get the recharge?
All pending transactions are reconciled periodically and transaction status updated.
• The status is showing successful but the recharge/ payment is not received. What should i do?
Please verify the transaction status by selecting ‘passbook’ option. Sometimes the network takes a little longer time to update the air time credit or bill payment status.
• An amount is deducted from my wallet but bill payment has failed?
Do not worry. Transactions are reconciled periodically and amount will be credited back to your account for failed transactions.
• I accidentally recharged a wrong number. How can i cancel the transaction?
All transactions are processed in real time and cannot be cancelled or reversed. Please ensure to enter the correct mobile number and amount before authorizing transactions.
Please ensure that the merchant is accepting payments through qr code. Scan the qr code, enter the amount and authorize the transaction with passcode.
• Will the merchant charge me any fees?
Merchants do not charge any fees.
• How soon does the merchant get confirmation of payment?
All transactions are processed in real time. Confirmation messages are sent to both pay+ wallet and merchant.
• Can i pay the merchant using pay+ wallet and a debit card?
As long as the merchant is ready to accept split payments, you can pay part of the amount with the pay+ wallet and part of the amount with your card.
• Do all merchants accept payments using pay+ wallet?
All merchants enabled for qr code payments can accept payments using the pay+ wallet.
• The merchant entered wrong amount through scanning my pay+ qr code, what should i do now?
Users are requested to verify transaction details before authorizing with passcode.

• Can i use my pay+ wallet in another country?
Currently pay+ mobile wallet can be used in oman only.
• Can i have multiple pay+ mobile wallet accounts using the same mobile number?
As per CBO regulations, a customer can have only one pay+ mobile wallet account.
• Can my family use the pay+ wallet registered on my name?
We recommend that customers use the pay+ wallet registered in their own names. You may open another pay+ wallet for spouses or children (above 18 years) for added convenience.
• Will i earn any interest on the pay+ mobile wallet account balance?
There is no interest paid on the pay+ mobile wallet account balance.
• Can i use pay+ mobile wallet for payments to buy petrol?
Yes, you may use pay+ wallet for payments to buy petrol as long as the petrol station is equipped to accept wallet payments via qr code.
• Is there a limit on number of times i can use the pay+ wallet?
To safeguard the accounts, cbo has mandated transaction limits for daily, weekly and monthly. We recommend you to refer to the transactions limits table.
• Why am i required to input my passcode for every transaction?
Customers are required to authorize all transactions with their passcode to ensure that he or she is performing the transaction.
• Will pay+ send me a transaction statement?
Customers can see a list of transactions using the ‘passbook’ option on the pay+ application.
• Can i use pay+ mobile wallet application on two different phones?
The pay+ mobile wallet application is linked to one mobile number, phone and login credentials and hence is allowed to work on one phone only.
• Can i change the phone instrument for the pay+ mobile wallet application?
In case of change of a phone instrument, we recommend you to log out of the application on your old phone, install the application on the new phone and verify your details once again to start using the wallet.
